Studio Newborn Photography Geelong
A few weeks ago I had the gorgeous little Ella and her Mum and Dad in my studio. I aim to make newborn photoshoots in my studio as easy and stress free as possible. The space is nice and bright and calm! I warm it up so it's quite cosy. And we just really take our time and go with the flow. I allow enough time for the new little Bub to be fed and to be settled if needed. And I'm more than happy to wrap and cuddle the babies to sleep while Mum and Dad just sit and relax, I know exactly what those first few weeks of a newborn are like, and any moments of peace you can get are glorious!
Ella was a little star in her session. She loved pulling her hands up and resting them on her face, it was so cute and I had a little giggle as she squirmed around to her own poses, that were actually perfect. Her photos really do show so much of her personality at only 3 weeks. old.
My studio newborn photoshoots are a lifestyle type of shoot, which means capturing the connection between Mum and Dad and their new little addition (and siblings too). I definitely get some of baby alone, but the style is more like an in-home shoot than a classic studio newborn shoot with a lot of props and wrapping. But the bonus of coming to my studio is that you don't have to worry about cleaning up!
